Serves as key coordinator regarding the administration of unit and individual training, interpreting training directives and guidance and analyzing unit training status. Recommends changes on unit training program, training schedules, and monthly plans.
Counsels and advises unit personnel on availability of courses, and discusses the nature of courses required for specific MOS attainment. Based on knowledge of training requirements for the unit, prepares requests for Army Service Schools, courses, and correspondence courses.
Identifies personnel requiring SQT testing and distributes soldier manuals, SQT notices, study materials and individual soldier reports. Determines needs based on training schedule and secures necessary training aid material and training publications through continued review and requisition of material.
Gathers information for and prepares various training and status reports for the commander and higher headquarters review. Conducts on-the-job training of Reservists in administration and supply.
